Our policy on COVID-19
Your safety and health is our top priority at We Kare Home Care! We have taken proactive steps in order to maintain a safe and independent lifestyle for our clients while reducing the risk of transmitting the COVID-19 Coronavirus. Our care teams have been educated and trained to follow the best home and health care practices in order to provide safe and high-quality care.
As a leading home care provider in the Monmouth and Ocean counties New Jersey, we offer timely and relevant information concerning the best way to care for your loved one through this stressful time. We Kare Home Care caregivers are ALWAYS available to provide immediate care and support to our clients and their families.
Implementing and following the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), New Jersey state and local municipality guidelines to minimize and reduce the Coronavirus outbreak have been and will continue to be a top priority at We Kare Home Care, its staff, caregivers & employees.
Most, not all, of our caregivers are fully COVID-19 vaccinated and boosted. If your care needs require a fully COVID-19 vaccinated and boosted caregiver, one will be made available to you upon request.
The CDC is an excellent resource to use to stay up to date about the COVID-19 disease–how it spreads and how it affects people and communities. CDC data confirms that some people are at higher risk of severe illness, including the senior community and people who have serious chronic medical conditions like heart disease, diabetes, and lung disease. This higher risk group makes up much of the clients we serve, and we’re committed to taking the steps necessary to do our best to protect our clients from this virus.

We Kare Home Care recognizes CDC guidelines to maximize extent possible to ensure our clients and families saftey and health.
The following are the latest guidelines published by the CDC that we have implemented and do enforce daily to reduce the transmission of the Coronavirsus:
-
Avoid touching public surfaces with your hands whenever possible, including such things as doorknobs, elevator buttons, restroom surfaces, restaurant menus and tables, public computer keyboards, etc.
-
Avoid touching your eyes, nose or mouth
-
Wash their hands often with soap and water frequently, for at least 20 seconds.
-
Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
-
Stay home when you are sick.
-
Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash.
-
Clean and disinfect all touched surfaces and objects frequently using a regular household cleaning spray or wipe.
-
Avoid crowds, especially in poorly ventilated spaces. Your risk of exposure to respiratory viruses like COVID-19 may increase in crowded, closed-in settings with little air circulation if there are people in the crowd who are sick.
-
Avoid all non-essential travel including plane trips and cruise ships.
